How To Be A Great Investor Like Warren Buffett

In order to be a great investor like Warren Buffett, you must do the followings:
  1. Only buy simple businesses that you understand
  2. has favorable long-term prospects
  3. demonstrates consistent earnings power
  4. earning good returns on equity with little or no debt
  5. competent and honest management
  6. available at an attractive price(margin-of-safety) for large purchases

and also possess the followings characteristics:

  1. be passionate about investments
  2. think of stock as part ownership of a business
  3. be happy to own the business even if the market is closed for a few years
  4. ignore the price movements and walk away if you don't like the price
  5. have great patience-buy and wait for many years
  6. be greedy when everyone is fearful
  7. have a deep pocket
  8. takes home US$100,000 but ignore reaping investments that's worth billions of dollar
  9. likes burgers, See's candies, Wrigley, Mars and coke
  10. born at the right place and at the right time
  11. have a good partner like Charlie Munger
  12. owns a cash cow like GEICO

and finally, you must live as long as Warren Buffett!
